Tenth Street is crap

I would like to officially state that the condition of 10th Street is ridiculous.

The last time it was patched (I believe just last Summer?), scattered potholes appeared within weeks. Recently, I believe they have grown too large to be considered holes. Now I'm pretty sure it's just called gravel.

I run past the really bad spots when it's raining, because vehicles driving through them can spray water across several lanes and well onto the sidewalk.

I actually began to fear for my safety as I walked home tonight, because several particularly large chunks of asphalt had broken free and were flying about the road. Several tires made awful sounds as they hit the rocks, and I saw one guy who I think probably pulled onto a side street to check the damage.

I'd say if you drive a sedan, stay off of 10th.

I did the running-past-puddles thing in Duluth. Apparently roads are bad all over Minnesota because water seeps in and then freezes and expands.
